Vicki Assegued is an experimental and innovative fiber artist and national instructor, always finding new and unique ways to work with her materials. Through her creative process, she explores many techniques to weave, layer, attach, coil, tie, knot, twist, build and develop her pieces so they are vibrant and engaging. As an instructor, Vicki generously shares many techniques and materials with her students, to increase the vast array of possibilities available to them. She inspires her students to go beyond where they’ve been with their creative process, to expand their aesthetic, increase their knowledge and skills, enhance their process of discovery, and escalate their expressive outcome. Vicki has exhibited and sold her work at galleries, businesses, health centers, restaurants, community centers, museums, and open studio events.
